A proud Chicago native and Illini alum, Dr. Elizabeth Krzak brings her lifelong love of animals to every patient she cares for. Her passion lies in guiding pets through every stage of life, with a special soft spot for senior pets who deserve extra love and attention.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Krzak is an artist and adventurer. She enjoys camping under the stars, creating art (including pieces that have been exhibited in Japan!), and exploring new places—like her unforgettable trip to magical Ireland. At home, she shares life with two bully breed sisters, four cats, including a one-eyed “pirate” kitty, making her home as lively as her heart.

Fun fact: Dr. Krzak never turns down French fries and loves finding joy in life’s little moments. Her dedication, creativity, and compassion make her an invaluable part of our veterinary team.
